Building modern user interfaces for IBM i applications doesn't have a one-size-fits-all solution. The i and me team works with a diverse toolkit—Angular, React, Flutter, .NET MAUI, and more—selecting technologies based on project requirements and available resources. This session focuses on Flutter, an open source cross-platform framework built on DART, as a powerful option for creating contemporary, user-friendly interfaces. We'll demonstrate how Flutter pairs effectively with serverless RPG microservices and JSON APIs running on IBM i with DB2 for i, enabling you to maintain a single codebase that deploys across mobile, desktop, and web platforms.
