This live session demonstrates FlashCopy backup and replication-based disaster recovery concepts for IBM i on IBM Power Virtual Server using full-system FlashCopy and Global Replication Services (GRS) DR replication. Starting with an existing IBM i environment, we will walk through the configuration experience for full system FlashCopy-based backups and replication, then show how these capabilities support backup and switchover operations.
