IBM i wait accounting is a powerful technology built into the IBM i operating system to determine what your jobs are waiting on when they are not using the CPU. Reducing the wait time in applications will increase the responsiveness, which results in improved performance. This session will delve deep into wait accounting, as this technology is key to fully understand the visualization of Collection Services and Job Watcher performance data. This session is a prerequisite to the iDoctor sessions.
